The 15 August 1945 Commemoration Foundation is supported financially by approximately 2,000 donors. The funds are used for the organisation of a dignified annual commemoration on 15 August. As a mark of gratitude for the donations, every year the Foundation board invites one donor and his/her next of kin to lay a wreath on behalf of the first, second and third generation.
